Welcome to The DC Zone! Seeing as you've made it to this page, we'll assume you'd like to know a bit more about us. The DC Zone started as a forum catering to people from many distributed computing projects. As things continued to grow, we started and will continue adding more information and resources to the site. One of most important aspects to us in building this site is to promote a sense of openess and community amongst the various projects. Another feature of the site is the bringing together and allowing of discussion about various projects in an open forum where concerns can be freely addressed, being a forum non-specific to any particular project. We like to think of The DC Zone as a centralised meeting place where useful information can be found for the various projects and also as a fun place for the volunteers to get together and chat. As many may run more than one DC project, a single forum where all DC work can be discussed will hopefully prove useful. You are most welcome to promote your project of choice and teams in the relevant forum areas. We focus on a number of different projects, though if your project of choice isn't one of them, feel free to post information about it in the "Other Projects" portion of the forum. |
